
About twenty of the most creative traders and agencies in Cologne’s hip district “Belgian Quarter” have realized the website and community Chic Belgique together. The area (map) is physically close to the main shopping high streets of Cologne, mentally it is relaxing different:
The atmosphere around the Bruesseler Platz is a mixture of living, work and shopping. A real urban centre which starts to become more and more unaffordable for independent designers. But there are still old-school-fastfood shops next to multimedia agencies and fashion or jewelry stores, where the designer himself talks to the customer. Herr von Eden is here, too, food is served from simple to gourmet.
At the edge of Belgian Quarter you’ll find the impressive renovated Spichernhöfe with Studios, Showrooms and interior stores. Once the beautiful market hall in the court is in function one day, the quarter will be even more worth a visit.
