A remarkable idea becomes more and more true: Die Zunft AG, translated something like ‘The Guild, Inc.’ realizes innovative places which combine tradition and modern lifestyle in a unique way. Invented by networker Christoph Hinderfeld the ‘Zunft’-supporting crowd grows fast and unites people of all interests, following one vision: creating innovative tradeplaces in Germany called ‘Zunftorte’. Currently there are six projects planned allover Germany , one spectacular example is the Zunftviertel Zollverein, located in the UNESCO-Heritage Zeche Zollverein in the city of Essen.
Here an innovative new trade place is being developed until 2010, when Essen is going to be the European Capital of Culture. Manufactures, traders, retail and institutions create a center of sustainability and value for modern customers. We stay tuned.
